Evangelism team  

Overview

The evangelism team visits prisons and schools to present the gospel through preaching, teaching and stunt demonstrations

Activities

The team has a strong focus on prison ministry and they have seen over 200 prisoners come to Christ. Some of these were prisoners awaiting execution in the condemned block.

This year they saw a miracle in which condemned block prisoners were released. One prison warden commented on the enormous change in the prisoners behaviour since they came to Christ.

Fellowships have been established in the prisons which continue to disciple prisoners who have become Christians.

The team also provide prisoners with items such as soap, food and clothing when they are able.

Stunt demonstrations, open air preaching and sports are some of the ways this team uses to present the gospel. Team members also regularly visit schools where they teach pupils about how to have a relationship with Christ and about abstaining from sex to avoid HIV infection.
